This Costs Agreement together with our general Terms and Conditions sets out the terms of our offer to provide legal services to you and constitutes our costs agreement and disclosure pursuant to the Legal Profession Uniform Law (NSW) (“the Uniform Law”).
Definitions used in this Costs Agreement have the same meaning given to them in our general Terms and Conditions.
1 Scope of work
We provide Contract Reviews to Buyers, Lawyers and Conveyancers.
2 Fees
Our Contract Reviews are provided for a fixed fee amount, such amount which is specified to you when purchasing.
3 Billing Arrangements
In order to access our Contract Reviews, you are required to make payment through our Site.
4 Acceptance of our Costs Agreement
You accept our Costs Agreement by purchasing Legal Reviews on our Site.
Our Contract Reviews are provided for a fixed fee amount, such amount which is specified clearly when purchasing.
5 Your Rights
It is your right to:
(a) negotiate a costs agreement with us;
(b) negotiate the method of billing;
(c) request and receive an itemised bill within 30 days after a lump sum bill or partially itemised bill is payable;
(d) seek the assistance of the designated local regulatory authority (the NSW Commissioner) in the event of a dispute about legal costs; and
(e) be notified as soon as is reasonably practicable of any significant change to any matter affecting costs.
